We hope Valentines Day has been as inspiring to all of you as it has been to us. We have an awful lot of love for our artists this month so let's get rolling!

February was off to a great start with Don't Panic. They are a band from Phoenix Arizona (FFO: Deftones, Linkin Park, & Thirty Seconds To Mars) With an explosive sound that they've decided to capture here at Superior Sound Studios with producer Jim Wirt, complete with massive soundscapes, heavy distorted guitars, and absolutely slamming drums. We're looking forward to having them back in the studio in July to finish their debut full-length record.

Another treat is getting to see NIIGHTS again. This excellent 4-piece hailing from here in Cleveland, Ohio is in the process of making your next favorite shoegaze record. With guitarist Frank Maraldo leading the charge into the Tonezone (trademark pending), Niights and Jim are able to help encompass the widest variety of sounds the band has to offer. Be on the look out for a new record later this year.

Last but not least, we have had blues legend D.C. Carnes. D.C. was a side man for blues legend Robert Lockwood Jr. Robert was a Grammy-award-winning blues artist with a career spanning from the early 1930s until the 2000s with multiple W.C. Handy blues awards under his belt. We are honored to have D.C. here in the studio with us making a record of Blues classics with our very own Jacob Kirkwood, and Jim Pica. We're looking forward to celebrating the release of this record March 27 at The Beachland Ballroom.

As always, if you are interested in working with us here at Superior Sound, please email superiorsoundpatrick@gmail.com and we can start crafting your next release today.
